Hello -
We just posted some more resources for the Shopify community and we wanted to tell you about it right away.
A PRACTICAL eCommerce Guide to Perfect Product Photos in Shopify
Everyone is always full of advice. But when we read online “tips” it seems that most of the time it either costs too much money or takes too much time.
Tips and tricks are great. But for more than 95% of the Shopify eCommerce sites out there, if the advice is not fast, easy, and practical it just becomes another fancy article about something cool that we don’t have time to do.
Really … we get it. At TaskHusky, we talk to hundreds of marketing and eCommerce folks each week and most of them have a lot on their plate. They need the kind of advice that will help them get things done fast.
And we have heard time and again that the same thing is true of product images.
If you search online you will find TONS of articles about how to shoot the perfect product photo. They’ll tell you how to get the angle “just right.” They'll tell you how to use special camera filters and editing tools to make your photos look like Annie Leibovitz is your personal photographer. You can even find step-by-step instructions on how to set up a mini-photo studio in your basement.
Sometimes that's just not practical.
None of that will help you if you just got a hot product in stock and need to get it up on your Shopify store page TODAY. None of that will help you sell more product RIGHT NOW. And even professional photography may not be optimized for eCommerce.
So we compiled the best practical, experience-based tips on preparing all kinds of images – whether you got them from a professional photographer or shot them yourself on an iPhone. It’s advice that helps you get professional-looking photos in your store fast AND prepped for every kind of marketing that you want to do – email, social media … you name it. Most importantly, it will look good and you can get it done fast.
We put the details in a blog post and it’s been up for a few days now. But here’s the long and short of it –
you CAN have professional-looking product photos that look great, do NOT slow down your website, help you with marketing, and SELL. And you can get it done in just one minute without spending a dime.
The article is called, “
.”
We are thinking about expanding the information to include practical solutions for all aspects of product photos. And we think that practical and persuasive descriptions are important too. We'll keep you posted.
If you have any questions, just let us know, We are always happy to help. Thanks for reading.
Kind Regards,
